Welcome, dear nurses!
This is the blog where we will be practising for the next three sessions heading to the English VI Final Test.
As discussed in the session of Saturday October 25th, we will be working on the following subjects: 1. Reported speech 2. Relative clauses, relative pronouns: that, which, who, whose, where, when 3. Articles: a/an, the or zero article and Quantifiers 4. Verb+ING or Verb + infinitive? 5. First and second conditionals (revision) Topics 1 and 2 were covered in the past two sessions (October 18th and 25th) but I am including here some links to references and online practise for those who did not attend class on those days -we missed you! As to the remaining three topics, you can work on them in the course of the three sessions that we will not be seeing each other (November 2nd is an offcial holiday and November 22nd there will be no class, as the exam for the SUA applicants will take place in the school). Thus, topics 3, 4 and 5 are to be studied either during weekdays or on the saturdays corresponding to our sessions of November 8th, 15th and 29th. If you still haven't got the total amount of the mandatory Mediateca hours, you can work on these subjects and answer the corresponding activities of the Speakout Students' Book Our final exam will take place from December 3rd to 5th -The date is still to be confirmed. For the writing section of the exam, choose one of the following writing tasks: 1. Essay on a Letter (Emotions). Keep in mind that, as the saying goes: "Practice makes perfect". But, most of all: do not forget to ENJOY!! |
